Revising Writing By Shailah

This week our teacher Miss paton gave us this piece of wrting where someone had some mistakes 

in there writing , Miss paton gave us the task to fix up all of the problems and here is the before 

and after enjoy!!!!!

On Saturday I was at my Papa's Aunts, and Uncles, house getting ready for halloween. When I saw my papa was dressed up in a spooky zombie I was dressed up as a purple bat. I was ready for halloween Me and my Papa were going around the houses asking for lollies.

Once I went to a house that was very black and very spooky my Papa got scared I told him don’t worry It's just a house  full of dickarayshions . There  Were  spiderwebs and bats and witch dickarayshions I knocked on the door and out came a ghost a man and a lady gave us sweets yummy happy trical treat I said to them next I went down to another house that wasn't spooky as it was

It only had spiders and black a black witch’s  broom I knocked on the door and out came a black witch the lady gave us chocolate and chocolate candy pumpkins .

When we stopped at kings road we saw my friend Zara and her Dad Babu they were going trical treating for yummy treats me and my Papa were walking to Zara we asked could we come with you to get yummy treats they said yes When we stopped down at the cafe we had a hot chocolate and a strawberry cupcake Than we went back down to costs cress  to go to other houses for trick or treating  

When we saw another house that was even scarier I said happy trinkil treat and out came a spider the man gave us lollies  and chocolate it was fun at halloween.It was time to go home I said bye to my friend Zara and went home to eat all the goodies .

Monday August 3rd: How to make a healthy breakfast

My healthy toast with my fruit smoothies.

1. get the bread   
2. put the toast I put the toast into the toaster
3. Then  get the toast  out
4. Get your blender and put in 250 ml of milk
5. Then add in frozen blueberries , raspberries and a banana
6. Then mix it all together
7. Then I sprinkle nuts on my smoothie
8. Then I put almond butter on my toast and homemade jam
9. ENJOY!

Today I have been learning about word DRAFT. DRAFT is like an aacrostic poem. Each leter of this word mean something in writing. Today we have been focusing on the D. D stands for delete. ANZAC brainstorm

This is my ANZAC brainstorm.

Anzac Biscuits recount.

"WOW", I said when we made Anzac Biscuits. When the Anzac Biscuits went in my mouth I was looking into space.

Thursday morning Miss Paton put a lot of ingredients onto the table. The bell went and we started making the Anzac Biscuits. Everyone had a role.

First  we needed 100 grams of butter but we only had 50 grams so then we cut 2 sets of 50’s and it made 100 grams, because 50 grams + 50 grams = 100 grams. Then Alex greased the trays so the cookies would not stick to the trays. Then I poured in the golden syrup into the pot. After that Nazanin and Tai took the pot to the kitchen hall so Miss Paton could melt the butter and golden syrup. They we went to go and get some boiling water. Mrs Smith came into the kitchen. Joshua had to measure the white flour. After Joshua poured in the flour Liam poured half a cup of white sugar. Avalon put ¾ cup of rolled oats  into the bowl. Lastly Miss Paton measured half a teaspoon of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of boiling water. She then added it to the melted butter and golden syrup. Then we stirred the mixture. We put them into balls and pressed down on them. Miss Paton got a ruler and checked if it was 4 centimetres away from each cookie. Aiden, Hajera, Jacob and Sky rolled the dough into little balls. Juliet, Nyjah and Aiden flattened the mixture with a fork. Aung Naing and Liam Taylor took the trays to the hall kitchen. The biscuits took ten minutes to cook. Taylor, Liam and Aung Naing were in the kitchen watching the biscuits cook. Mrs Smith helped to get the biscuits out of the oven. Aung Naing, Taylor and Liam scraped the biscuits off the tray and put them onto the plates. After lunch time we got to eat the biscuits. They tasted like a very soft chunk of Syrup.

Learning intention

When me and my Sister got to the pools we were so happy Because me and My Sister we never go swimming . She jumps in.I just  sit down on the side of the pool and was talking and she was wets me.Me and my sister wet her she got mad I got mad but then I jumped then we played and we went to the Inside we played a game called never have I ever.I saw jacks brother I said hi and he came over and said what and i said say that i said hi to jack.And we played all day then my mum and sister said.I say No Way  and my sister was thinking about it and i just said no .After we got some chips and went home
